Symington Memorial Silver Band traces its origins back to 1898, and has been in its present form as a brass band since 1951.
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, and inline with restrictions put in place by the Northern Ireland Executive, the band has not met to rehearse or perform at any engegments since March 2020. Currently we will not be performing at any Remembrance events in November and wait to see if we are allowed to meet to play carols at Chrictmas.
Under normal circumstances the band rehearses on Monday evenings 8.00 - 10.00pm in the band room at Dundonald Presbyterian Church, Church Green, Dundonald, Belfast, BT16 2LP.
